Nice CX you have. I linked you on my CX-site. It is a pitty that I can't see your page like I should because of the different character-sets that we use, but keep up the good work. Greetings.
Hi,I have a 1983 CX Gti,5-speed manual,is beautiful to drive and has only done 122,000Kms,Needs minor body attention, I love the car but I need to sell it.Any offers?
First of all, I筐like to introduce myself, I am a pharmacist graduated from Aleppo university in Syria, I was born in Italy in 1975, when I was there my father had a CITROEN CX and was a magnificent car, and till now he remember it.
Now, after many years of my living here in Syria, as a result of my love to that car, I bought last year in February 2002 a CITROEN CX 2500 prestige automatic break, model of 1977, and to tell you the truth is very beautiful, but unfortunately something was wrong with the gearbox ( chengement) automatic, and till this day the car didn龠move. I did every thing in order to have a new one, but here in Syria they don龠have spare parts for this beautiful car.
So I?writing to you now , because for me you are the last way, and I think you are the only one who can help me and prevent my car from death. So I跛 be very glad if you can help me to know the way in order to obtain a new gearbox automatic for my car, and other spare parts to let my car move and be a member of the CITROEN CX club in the world.
At the end I wish you good days, hoping to hear from you soon.
It`s so nice to see one of this old beauties in Japan too. I have had 19 different CX`s through the years, so i`m what you could call a real cx fanatic. Here in Norway where i`m living, there is still a lot of this beautiful cars on the road.Take care of your car,and your self of course. Hello from a CX fan in Oslo- Norway.
This is my first vision of a Cx in Japan. However, this is a European Continental one (steering wheel on the left side) Your Cx is a Serie No I. Gas or Diesel I cannot determine, but I bet for a gas one!
I will come to see your web one more time very soon.
Kind Regards, Dan BITON

Need technical info CX 25 GTi Turbo engines type 1 and 2
I have dismantled a Turbo 2 which had a rotten body, and bought a good Turbo 1 series 1, but fear that the latter is less economic in fuel consumption. Maybe increasing compression ratio and adding the intercooler would help, but I need to know what the exact differences between the types of engines are before I start to work on this. At first: What causes difference in compression ratio of engine CX 25 GTi turbo (without intercooler, yrs 1985 - 1987) and CX 25 GTi turbo 2 (with intercooler, yrs 1987 - 1989), is this due to modified pistons or cylinderhead? At second : Are there more modifications between turbo-petrol engines type 1 and type 2 (mechanical / electronical)?
